Once again, Grenada Lake shows why it is ranked out and supported this tournament. Even with the
the #1 crappie lake in the nation.
It was a cold and very windy day.
The recent rains had the lake
rise 10 feet in just a few days. It
made the water muddy, and the
fish did not want to bite anything.
But even mother nature could not
keep Grenada from producing the
heaviest weights of the season. It
was not easy. But when MCC has
some of the best fishermen in the
nation, anything is possible. On a
day when over 20 teams did not
catch a fish, Jeremy Aldridge and
Clint Egbert weighed in 7 crappie
that weighed 19.23 pounds! And
the Big Mama of the tournament
weighing 3.57 pounds! My hats are off to you guys.
You put a whooping on us in some of the worse
conditions Grenada had to offer.
I want to say thank you to everyone who came

tough conditions, we had 65 teams fish
this tournament. That included a num-
ber of new teams and some new youth
anglers. Please keep introducing new
members to our club. And remember to
bring a youth every chance you get. We
love to see all the kids and introduce
them to what we love.
Next we are headed to Enid Lake.
Hopefully, we can have some nice
weather for a change. If so, this should
be fun! You can almost always catch lots
of fish at Enid. Our registration will be
Friday evening at Cafe’ Ole’ in Batesville.
Come join us for some good Mexican
food or possibly a wonderful Mexican
concoction.
